BioTek Microplate Dispensers
BioTek’s new MultiFlo™ Microplate Dispenser is the latest advancement in bulk dispensers offering up to four reagents dispensed in parallel with one compact instrument. The MultiFlo offers a choice of either peristaltic pump or microprocessor controlled syringe drive technologies. Purchase one channel now and upgrade to more later. A wide array of plate types are accommodated from 6- to 1536-well formats. The MultiFlo dispenses a broad volume range from 1 μL to 3 mL accurately and precisely with a fully modular and upgradable design. BioTek’s proprietary angled dispensing ensures compatibility with all dispense protocols including media exchanges with loosely adherent cell monolayers. For assays requiring minimum reagent usage, the MultiFlo’s prime volume is under 1 mL.
MultiFlo™ FX is an automated reagent dispenser for 6- to 1536-well microplates. Its unique Parallel Dispense™ technology allows up to four independent reagents to be dispensed in parallel without potential carryover. What makes MultiFlo FX “multi-mode” is its configurability: you can add a wash module or the RAD™ module, for random access individual well dispensing and bulk dispensing larger wells. Everything you need for fast, intuitive programming and operation is available through the color touchscreen. MultiFlo FX configured with either the wash module or RAD technology replaces up to five liquid handlers in a single compact platform.
The MicroFlo™ Select Dispenser is the latest development in dispensing technology offering superior 6- to 1536-well microplate dispensing flexibility in one compact instrument. In fact, it’s the first instrument of its kind to offer a wide range of choices in dynamic dispense volumes (1 µL – 10 mL), microplate types, sample tube sizes, and automated dispense height adjustment, along with a full range in cassettes to accommodate dispensing requirements now and into the future. The proprietary cassettes each incorporate the appropriate tubing, tip properties and accurate dispensing technology to deliver full and reproducible incremental volumes of liquid within its specified volume range, even after numerous autoclave cycles.
